Our exclusive wall mounted funnel pots are our newest obsession. These handmade (for us) terracotta pots on a metal frame will showcase your plants in all of their glory. Think of them as a plant sconce or a piece of ever-changing sculpture for your wall. They help solve the problems some of us (plant freaks) run into when we don't have horizontal space for more plants. We get to go vertical with these babies and that means we can have MORE PLANTS. Obviously, this makes us very happy.
These are all handmade for us in Honduras by artisans in a fair trade community. Each pot is hand dipped in the white paint to create the lovely asymmetrical design. Since these are raw (porous) terracotta and they will patina over time, we recommend that you do not plant directly inside of them if you want the pots to stay the same forever. We love the patina but we understand that some may not. With that said, you may also seal the interior of the pot with a stone sealer found at your local hardware store. However, if you do seal them, the terracotta will lose its porous quality and that isn’t as good for your plant roots. They will work beautifully with 6-8” nursery pots placed directly inside of them and that’s the best way to slow any patina (water marks & soil marks) while allowing the roots to breathe. Love this wall-mount planter. Arrived quickly and well-protected. It didn't come with any hardware, but I had some on-hand. It was easy to hang and assemble. The finished product is very pretty! It looks more finished/shiny in the photo than in real life, but I like the more natural look. Would order from this company again.
I love this planter! It is perfect for the space, and my calathea loves it. I would order again in a heartbeat (and likely will)!
