Another Birthday Gift Complete! :) I just knew this would look good in person, and it’s perfect for my sisters style.
I really love the bold geometric design on this pot. Used it to replant some Chinese Evergreen cuttings, and this pot adds so much personality. I ended up placing it on a small terra cotta dish that I already had on hand (post photo), since the pot was quite damp after watering. I'm interested to see how the paint design holds up to future waterings, but so far so good after the first one!
Hey Anna! Thanks for the kind words. Just a heads up: the soil and water will soak into the walls of the terracotta and it will probably start to show on the outside. It doesn't damage the paint job but it will start to change colors, eventually. It's just the natural patina process of terracotta. If you DO NOT want that to happen, you can apply a clear-coat of stone sealer to the inside (same stuff they use on granite countertops). Hope that helps!
