Daybreak San Juan La Laguna 20 Inch Pillow

These fair trade, ethically sourced and made pillows are made with cotton and natural dye. The face of this pillow features a stunning hand-woven, organic textile from the village of San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala. We have combined these stunning weavings with more traditional fabrics to create one of a kind pillows for the modern home. The back of the pillow is a classic and soft stonewashed linen.

When we went to Guatemala to source new textiles, we had no idea just how much we would fall in love with the people, the culture, the artisans, and their crafts. We were moved by their beautiful spirits, craftsmanship and, unfortunately, the poverty.  We were instantly drawn to help the children of these artists obtain a better education where they will be able to help end the cycle of poverty. A portion of all of our sales will go directly towards scholarships for the children of the artists that helped create these bags. Your purchase will uplift and support humanity in a unique and meaningful way!

We combine ethically sourced vintage and global textiles with fabrics from a locally owned small business to create each one-of-a-kind pillow. We take pride in the opportunity to give back to our local economy & to support other women in business by providing a fair wage to workrooms as well as supporting other small domestic and international businesses through our sourcing.

Because these pillows are made by hand, each may have a slight variation in color, size, and pattern. Minor signs of fading, discoloration or other imperfections are not considered flaws but add to the authenticity and charm of these beautiful home goods.

How We Give Back

We are not a conventional company and we don't intend to become one. For every purchase you make from us, we donate 15% of our profits to fund scholarships for kids in Guatemala to attend private school. You will also find us donating profits to different causes that we feel are important to the collective good. These include but are not limited to Together Rising, The ACLU, and various animal welfare programs.

We believe passionately that creating the ideal home and lifestyle must also include reminders that we, as humans, are all interconnected and we want every piece in our homes to create a positive impact.
