Gourd Shaped Wild Olive Wood Spoon

  • Origin: Kenya
  • Size: 6.5"L x 2.25"W x 0.5"T
  • Materials: Wild olive wood

It was love at first sight with this spoon. Kenyan wood carvers show off their skills in this uniquely-shaped serving spoon. It is styled to look like a calabash gourd and this handmade kitchen utensil showcases the beautiful grain of wild olive wood. We love it for serving rice, casseroles, enchiladas, fruit salad, and ice cream (when you're feeling like you need to eat the whole carton).

Because this is a handcrafted item, each will vary slightly.

Care instructions: Hand wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry. Rub wood lightly with mineral or olive oil before storing.

    How We Give Back

We are not a conventional company and we don't intend to become one. For every purchase you make from us, we donate 15% of our profits to fund scholarships for kids in Guatemala to attend private school. You will also find us donating profits to different causes that we feel are important to the collective good. These include but are not limited to Together Rising, The ACLU, and various animal welfare programs.

We believe passionately that creating the ideal home and lifestyle must also include reminders that we, as humans, are all interconnected and we want every piece in our homes to create a positive impact.
