This month, a portion of our profits will support Winter Awakening. We'll be offering retreat sponsorships to this non-profit that is near and dear to us and helps LGBTQIA+ and allies in their sobriety journey!
Winter Awakening is an annual retreat where LGBTQIA+ and allies in recovery can come together to examine and explore their recovery and spirituality in an atmosphere of mutual support.
Some of you may know that I'm in recovery, and have been for 16+ years. I attended Winter Awakening as a newly sober ally and was enveloped in love by everyone there. I felt at home in this community and as a person who had experienced trauma during addiction, having a safe place to land was necessary in my sober journey. Winter Awakening has been a safe place for all who attend but especially those in the LGBTQIA+ community struggling with addiction.
We are extremely proud and grateful to be able to be able to support others on their recovery journey.
